Alright, let's talk the MarsWork Plastic Reusable Spool S1.
If you print as much as I do, tossing a whole spool in the trash every time you finish a kilo starts to feel ridiculous. That's the whole pitch here – buy the spool once, then just keep grabbing refills. Price vs function is an easy 8/10. You're not paying some insane accessory tax for a hub that actually gets reused, and the waste cut is legit amazing.
The feature I actually use though is swapping mid-roll. You can strap off a partially used refill, close the spool, and drop another color or material on the same hub without the usual spaghetti explosion. That's huge when you're bouncing between prints and don't want a graveyard of half-dead rolls eating the whole shelf. Two fingers, pop it open, swap, clip the end, done.
MarsWork's own filament is pretty nice too. I ran it on my Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 on default settings and it just worked – no profile hunting, no "why is this stringing like crazy" session. For a refill system that's exactly what you want.
Bottom line: grab one and try the workflow. Worst case you're out a cheap spool. Best case you stop buying a new hub every roll and your print table stays way less chaotic. I'd recommend buying one to try it out.
Overall: 8/10
